Born in London, Ontario, brandy ryan studied poetry and poetics at Western University, and received a PhD from the University of Toronto in 2008. Her work has appeared in Media Tropes, White Wall Review, ditch, Misunderstandings Magazine, and dear sir. As well as writing poetry, she watches hockey and hangs out in art galleries.
